The Eye of The Dream
Lift the lid on a dreamy eye; what would you see?
A brain still churning the days events – mixing them wildly
Search for happy endings or soft fluffy toys to cuddle
As your subconscious takes you on adventures just incredible.
Jungle scenes and joyous scenes of riding wild animals
With gorillas in mist, but then, there’s a twist and you have to flee from cannibals.
You run and you run in the heat of the sun, then dive in a cool lagoon.
Or envision your freedom from life so harsh, finding your silver spoon.
Scenes of love and hugs embracing the one of your dreams;
Scenes of life unchained from debt, and no more to cry or scream
For help, or beg; instead the dream brings peace so heavenly
Till the new day dawns, and with the morn, you stretch back to reality
Soon be night and Dreamtime beckons, and what next time to teach ya?
Wondrous things – if only you can find your Puddle Creature.
